MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Welcome to PS 138 Samuel Randall Elementary School, where we provide the very best elementary education and experiences for our students 3K through Fifth Grade. PS 138 has been a place where students are intellectually ambitious, engaged, and curious about the world in which they live. Our students are beautiful, compassionate, and filled with desire to meet new challenges.

We are very excited about the 2023-24 school year, where classrooms once again will be full of activities and ideas that challenge and inspire our students.

Our amazing teachers work hard to create an exceptional learning environment for our students. In this environment, all learners are prioritized, and their individual needs are at the forefront of our work. This year, we continue our journey with major focus on developing strong readers, from our youngest students and culminating in fifth grade.

Throughout the year, exciting things are happening across our school! We encourage you to get involved by joining our Parent Association, volunteering at school activities, and taking an active role in your child's education. Be on the lookout for our amazing family nights, which we encourage you to attend with your family. This will enable us to strengthen our community while infusing a bit of fun. It is my desire to keep the focus on increasing student achievement and doing whatever it takes to help ALL our students be successful and enjoy coming to school each day. I believe that learning should be fun and that an elementary school should pave the way for a lifetime of learning.
